My CNC lathe conversion uses a dual control system allowing full CNC with Mach4/Smoothstepper AND manual control with an Arduino. I’ve now added profile turning function on the Arduino. See www.wadeodesign.com for a full write up of the conversion along with CAD files and parts list (all for free).
