Although our quality systems for molding, machining, and 3D printing share many similarities, each service has a set quality measures unique to itself. In CNC machining, each block that is needed for milling, and every rod stock that is used for turning, contains a material bar code, that is attached to the order. This eliminates material confusion and improves traceability during production. Each material stock is loaded in a predetermined CNC machine that contains the digital machining instruction.

Since the instructions have already been programmed by the software team, minimal human interaction is needed to start machining. Before milling or turning begins, sensors inside the machine calibrate the exact dimensions to provide additional accuracy. Similar to molding, quality inspections of the x, y, z extents confirm parts were manufactured to customer specifications.
