This NEW Automatic Pallet Changer for 5-Axis vertical machining centers can increase productivity by using just ONE pallet cart in a smaller footprint for a quick 2-pallet transfer OR expand by adding MULTIPLE carts for even greater throughput and lights-out production.
Increase CNC productivity by loading parts outside of your 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center while its cutting. Pallets are automatically locked onto a cast iron receiver mounted directly on the machine table assuring +/-.0001” (.0025 mm) repeatability.
Each cart holds two cast aluminum pallets and connects to additional carts via T-pins allowing for continuous part transfer in and out of the machine tool. The operator can load a train of carts to run while they attend to other tasks or go “lights-out”.
• Interlocked pallet carts are mobilized though the shuttle system on casters allowing the shuttle to continuously feed pallets into the #5Axis #MachiningCenter.
• Once a cart is pushed through the other side, the operator can easily load new pallets and change parts while the spindle is cutting.
• A completed pallet cart can be removed by unlocking the T-pins and rolled to a different location or to the opposite end of the cart train to keep production going.
• Depending on programming, after the full “pallet cart train” passes through the shuttle, the process repeats sending carts back in the opposite direction.
