In this tutorial, learn how to make a CNC cross featuring stacked text inspired by The Chosen TV series (#thechosen) in Vectric software. In addition to using previously learned tools, I will introduce you to some new tools and techniques not taught in my previous videos. Please note that I use a node editing technique to create the internal and external crown vectors in this tutorial. There are quicker and easier ways to perform this operation, but I used this method for the purpose of teaching node editing, a technique not touched upon in previous videos in this series. I intentionally did this so that you can get comfortable with node editing. Don’t fret as I will show you much easier and quicker ways to do this in a future video.
My series on CNC Woodworking Tutorials for Beginners will teach you how to use Vectric Aspire CNC software to get started with CNC woodworking. Whether you use a desktop CNC router or a larger CNC machine, these tutorials will help you DIY by becoming familiar with using any of Vectric’s versatile combined CAD and CAM software packages. Vectric software can be freely used on an unlimited time trial basis to follow along with the tutorials to come.
