Cutting Geometric Pattern on CNC

Starting on a new project to make a window covering on the Stepcraft Q.408 CNC machine, I started with the Amana Tool 46202-K 1/4″ Spektra™ coated downcut bit all linked below.

Feed Rate: 100ipm
Plunge Rate: 50ipm
Depth per pass: .25″

I then switched out for the 46176-K 1/8″ compression bit to clean up the process edges giving me a smaller radius and a perfectly clean top and bottom surface of the material.

RPM: 18,000
Feed Rate: 40ipm
Plunge Rate: 20ipm
Depth per pass: .25″
