CNC sump cleaning and new coolant for the Haas VM3. Ed from QualiChem is here today to “muck the sump.” We were in for a bit of a surprise when we removed the cover and saw the color of our old coolant…
The Chip Trapper and RO water from our mobile IBC tote made it easier on us but you don’t need anything fancy to get the job done. We’ll remove the old coolant, circulate cleaner, remove the cleaner, and rinse with a 1% mix coolant and water before fully recharging the machine. Ed is extremely knowledgeable and has great tips for keeping CNC coolant and machines at their best.
