Hey CNC Woodworkers! I’ve been doing lots of cool organic CNC shapes with my Tormach PCNC 1100. I want to share with you the general process on how I made this cool wood bowl out of some cherry wood. Anyone can make a turned bowl on a lathe, but it requires a machinist to make a unique shape like this! This is a fun two sided machining project. I show how to do CNC work holding techniques to do the first and second operation. Be sure to check out my related videos as I’ve refined this technique quite a bit! Download the Fusion 360 file for free so you can also cut out this awesome bowl: https://bit.ly/shell_bowl
Thanks for watching! Subscribe & like to encourage me to make more videos like this. Post questions you might have in the comments. 2 sided machining can be tricky!
