JTEKT’s Stealth Series of vertical machining centers features a box guideway design, a solid Meehanite cast iron base, and powerful drive motors on the X, Y, and Z axes. The Stealth 1165 displayed during IMTS 2014 featured a new option of a rear-type chip conveyor, which allows for a more compact footprint. At the show, the Stealth 1165 showcased its cutting capabilities with Caron Engineering’s TMAC System for tool monitoring.
