SCM accord 500 is the perfect solution for doors, windows and stairs processing, representing the new entry of the SCM’s accord CNC machining centre range for routing and drilling. accord 500 features a gantry structure able to guarantee strength and precision together with the MATIC work table with PROFIGRIP clamps, which ensure the perfect work piece locking. Also, the new KPX 5-axis operating unit with a 17kW electrospindle allows this CNC machining centre to increase the overall productivity.Thanks to the flexible and compact BRC-S unit, the cutting and drilling times of windows components are considerably reduced. Even with more than 100 tools always available on board with the new Caddy 35 storage, the size of the machine is still the same since the magazine is fully integrated. The tool management is then further optimized and simplified by the new Maestro Power TMS software, integrated in the SCM Maestro Suite. Thanks to this program, which maximizes the capacity of the machine and optimizes the tool storage, the operator no longer has to waste time and energy: the software will identify and indicate the right position in the magazine for each tool with the aim of minimizing machining times. Also, the cleanliness of the environment is another crucial aspect in solid wood machining and this is the reason why SCM has designed a new chip conveyor automatically positioned according to the machining program in order to have the maximum suction efficiency in all conditions.
