I hope this video will show you what to expect if you order a Shapeoko CNC router! It’s just a general overview of how the assembly process goes, and how the software provided by carbide3d is used. I didn’t mention it in the video, but the scrap piece of wood I do my first cut in is held in place with double sided mounting tape on the bottom. I would suggest getting a piece of plywood to place on top of the MDF board that comes with the Shapeoko just so that when you’re cutting all the way through a material and the bit hits the work surface, it will mill into your plywood instead of the MDF. Also Emelie is my wife, for those who are wondering.
